Something Off?
We'll Find It. Fix It.

Tripping breakers, flickering lights, dead outlets, hot wires, weird electrical issues — we diagnose with real tools and repair to NEC code. Across San Angelo and the Concho Valley.

Real Diagnostics.
Real Repairs.

Most electrical problems aren't dramatic — they're nagging. A breaker that trips twice a week. A light that flickers when the dishwasher runs. An outlet that's been "kind of loose" for two years. Easy to ignore, and that's the trap. Small electrical problems are how big electrical problems start.

We troubleshoot and repair electrical issues across San Angelo and the surrounding Concho Valley. Real diagnostic tools, real testing, real repair work to NEC code. Whether it's a single bad outlet, a circuit that won't hold, or something worse — burnt connections, hot panels, signs of arcing — we find the actual cause and fix it. If you've lost power entirely, that's an emergency call — call us right away.

Every repair is backed by a Texas-licensed master electrician. Not a parts swapper, not a "let's try this and see" approach.

Six Signs You Need
Real Diagnostics — Now.

These are the symptoms we hear about most. Some are minor. Some are fire risks. All of them deserve a real look.

01

Tripping Breakers

A breaker that won't reset, trips repeatedly, or trips when a specific appliance turns on. We find the cause — overload, short, or failing breaker.

02

Flickering Or Dimming Lights

Lights flickering with no pattern, dimming when AC kicks on, or a single fixture that flickers no matter what bulb you put in. Usually a wiring or connection issue.

03

Dead Outlets

Outlets that suddenly stop working, half a room without power, or outlets that work intermittently. Often a tripped GFCI, sometimes a loose connection.

04

Burning Smell Or Hot Outlets

Burn marks, soot, melted plastic, or anything hot to the touch at an outlet, switch, or panel. Active fire risk — call us today, not next week.

05

Buzzing, Crackling, Popping

Healthy electrical is silent. Sound coming from a panel, switch, outlet, or fixture means a loose connection or arcing — both fire risks.

06

Shocks From Appliances

Tingles or shocks when you touch a metal appliance frame mean a fault is energizing the case — usually a grounding problem. Don't ignore it.

Lost Power? Burning Smell?

Don't wait. Electrical emergencies can become dangerous fast.

Troubleshooting Questions.
Honest Answers.

What San Angelo homeowners ask before booking a diagnostic.

My breaker keeps tripping. What's wrong?+
Three common causes: an overloaded circuit (too many things plugged in pulling more current than the breaker is rated for), a short circuit somewhere in the wiring, or a failing breaker that trips below its rating. The fix depends on which one it is — we test the circuit, identify the actual cause, and either redistribute the load, repair the wiring, or replace the breaker. Don't keep resetting a breaker that won't hold; that's how electrical fires start.
Why are my lights flickering?+
Flicker can mean a few things: a loose connection somewhere on that circuit, a failing dimmer switch, an overloaded circuit when a big appliance kicks on, a loose neutral at the panel (this one is dangerous), or just a bad bulb. Whole-house flicker — every light dims when the AC turns on — usually points to a panel or service-side issue and needs to be checked soon.
How much does electrical troubleshooting cost?+
Cost depends on how long the diagnostic takes and what the repair turns out to need. Some problems are quick to identify; others take longer testing to track down. We give you a clear quote on the diagnostic up front, and a separate clear quote on any repair work once we know what's actually wrong. Call to schedule.
Half of my outlets in one room aren't working. Why?+
Most likely a tripped GFCI outlet somewhere on that circuit — often in the bathroom, garage, or outside. A single GFCI can protect a whole string of regular outlets, and when it trips, all of them go dead. Find and reset the GFCI first. If that doesn't fix it, you might have a loose connection in a junction box or behind an outlet — that's where we come in with a meter.
I see a burn mark or smell something hot at an outlet. Is that an emergency?+
Yes. Burn marks, soot, melted plastic, or a hot smell at an outlet, switch, or panel means there's active arcing or a connection that's failing under load. That's how electrical fires start. Cut the breaker for that circuit if you can do it safely, and call us. This is an emergency call, not a "schedule for next week" call.
Can you work on older wiring like knob-and-tube or aluminum?+
Older wiring systems like knob-and-tube and aluminum branch wiring need specific knowledge to handle safely — special connectors for aluminum, careful work around knob-and-tube to avoid damaging insulation. Many older homes in the San Angelo area still have one or both. Call to discuss your situation and we can let you know how we can help.
